5 DAY CLIMBING TOUR OF MT. AFADJATO AND WLI WATER FALLS
In this tour, we take you to the highest point of Ghana. We climb Ghana’s tallest mountain, the Mountain Afadjato. The mountain is 885 metres (2904 ft) tall. It is located in the Agumatsa Range in the Volta region of Ghana at the border with Togo. We shall teach you a bit of history and rich culture of the surrounding towns of the mountain. As part of the tour, you shall visit the Tafi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary, which is not far from Afadjato.
The tour shall also take you the highest waterfall in West Africa, the Wli Waterfall. Located near the Wli village and near the Ghana –Togo border, the Wli waterfall is about 280 kilometres from Accra, Ghana’s capital. The waterfalls has two level and we shall climb the mountain to all the levels.
Itenary :
Day 1
Arrival and Airport pick up. We drive you to Wli Village, a naturally green environment. You check into your hotel and relax for the days ahead.
Day 2
After breakfast, we begin our hiking to the mountains to see the waterfalls. The climbing takes approximately two hours to and another two hours to descend. We spend some time at the waterfalls. You can swim. We return to our hotel. You have the rest of the day to yourself for relaxation.
Day 3
After breakfast, we set to Afadjato. We check into our hotel, have some rest and them make a trip Tagi-Atome Monkey Sanctuary.
Day 4
After breakfast, we begin our hiking to the highest point of Afadjato.
Day 5
After breakfast, we set off to Accra. Tour ends.
